Witchcraft – Destroys Minds & Reaps Souls’ 50 Years Anniversary

Prophecy Productions has entered into conspiracy with occult rock icons Coven on this most evil All Hallows Eve. This alliance will see the release of a fiftieth anniversary box set featuring the classic Coven records in addition to an art book documenting the bands storied history. Fans possessed with enigmatic frontwoman Jinx Dawson’s black magick will race to collect one of these limited-edition sets.

On the sunset eve of the sixties, as flower power was wilting, and the winds of change blew a cold breeze over Altamont, Coven struck the first chords of major label satanic rock. Instantly infamous for artwork depicting a nude Dawson participating in an occult ritual and being the first record to use the words ‘Ave Sathanas,’ Coven was banned. Not only this but Covens debut album from 1969 kicks off with a song called "Black Sabbath." The bass players name was Oz Osborne who can be seen on the albums back cover making the first documented sign of the horns.

With a return to the stage at Roadburn 2017, the matriarch of occult rock is soaring higher than ever tackling festivals across the world and engaging in critically lauded tours. Of these grandiose plots, Jinx Dawson says: “We are enthralled to be wickedly embracing Prophecy Productions as our blasphemous cohorts. This box set will be a tribute to fifty years of sex, drugs, rock ‘n’ roll and of course demon worship.”
